Why I am “rethinking” treadmills

  • Sharebar

Interesting take on treadmills. Personally I find them excruciatingly boring! Much better to go outside for a walk or a run. Still sometimes we can’t always do that.

Why you might want to rethink using treadmills…as they train our nervous system 180 degrees of how it normally works! Visit our site at www.eastwesthealing.com!

I have seen Shirley Sarhmann saying that if one uses a treadmill it should not be done at mroe than 6mph, becuase the pattern of you keeping up with the “track” ruins motor patterning.

Thanks for the video, excellent information.

Anyone know of a forum that is based around functional medicine kind of stuff; like the stuff Josh and UndergroundWellness Sean do?

and if you’re gonna run on a treadmill get the WOODWIND—– self powered—like nothing you’ve ever tried. Look’em up :D (and NO, I don’t work for them! ;-)

Interesting thanks Josh. Does the same apply to elliptical trainers or are they presumably even worse?

good video. The part of the fitness industry that sells treadmills will hate you for ever and ever after.
