When Should I Expect My Cycle After Natural Miscarriage?

  • Sharebar

I just had asked about the possibility of being pregnant on here, and everyone said wait till my cycle….so any advice on when I’d get my cycle after a miscarriage that happened 11 days before I typically would have my cycle? Would I get my cycle like a month to the day after I had my cycle or would I get it when I typically would?
Sorry to keep asking questions…trying to figure out stuff before I move in 2 weeks and loose my health care for 60days!

The first cycle is usually goofy due to high levels of hormones. First cycle usually last 4 to 6 weeks long. Your next cycle should be regular.
The first day of the bleeding is cycle day 1.
If you have reached 4 weeks or 2 weeks since you think you may have ovulated you can have a Quantitative Pregnancy Blood Test which measures hcg in the blood rather then just detect hcg at a certain level. You should have two though (2 days apart) because you might still have some hcg in your system due to your last pregnancy so you want to to see if the hcg is going up which would indicate a new pregnancy.

I miscarried after my normal period for the month (did not know i was pregnant) and my period started the very next month when it was due. I was 4-5 weeks along when i miscarried.
