Her facts are sooo off I can’t even get started. The estrogen theory has been disproven but do you know what messes up hormone levels COW MILK.

  2. 1993RachelMarie says:

    @jzav68 you can’t grow a vagina.

  3. RandyBful1 says:

Corn IS bad, because there’s a 90% chance of it being GM. Look up “gm corn bacteria or BT corn” and educate yourselves. Half the world’s illnesses, including, diabetes, heart disease, dementia, ADHD, allergies, etc., can all be attributed to GMOs, artificial sweeteners and artificial colours and flavours (chemicals). When you look at a product like ‘chocolate’ and “cocoa” is half way down the list, even after HFCS, soy, mono and diglycerides and other ‘non foods’, something is seriously wrong!

  4. RandyBful1 says:

You may not be sick from the soy now, but it will catch up to you. All GM foods are a ticking time bomb. There have been very few studies on GM foods and most that were done were falsified by criminal corporations like Monsanto! I don’t eat anything that contains corn, soy, canola or cottonseed; and I’m infinitely healthier than I was 7 months ago, when my health almost failed completely from years of eating these poisons. Genetic engineering of food should never have been allowed!

  5. RandyBful1 says:

Anything that doesn’t have the usual soy in it contains “soy lecithin”, which is the sludge that’s left over, after they manufacture all the other poison crap. I can handle ‘some’ of that, it the shit is at the bottom of the list. KILL MONSANTO!

  6. RandyBful1 says:

I’m glad she finally brought up GMOs. Corn, soy, canola and cottonseed – the top 4 GMOs! Health Canada (NOT), gives poisons like aspartame GRAS status! GRAS = Generally Recognized As Shit!!!

  7. ardanta says:

@fizzydowa gelatin is from bones of animals, sie wikki

  8. fizzydowa says:

CORRECTION to above post that is incorrect gluten is from wheat it is vegetarian…..gelatin is from boiled bones

  9. SaganAppreciationSoc says:

    This lady isn’t a dietitian. She’s a freakin’ N.D.

    Science fail.

  10. spellwing777 says:

An excellent point; I would like to add that eggs, dairy, AND meat that is raised by Sustainable Agriculture standards is a much healthier, more humane source of nutrition than commercially raised food. Not to mention its much better for the enviroment!

  11. spellwing777 says:

You can go for S.A. which stands for Sustainable Agriculture. SA food uses no artificial hormones, fertilizars, etc. Problem is, its such a minority that its rare and expensive. We need to demand more of it to drive the price down and make it more common.

  12. spellwing777 says:

You do realize the B12 in those supplements come from cows blood, right? Not to mention all supplents are made with gluten; a product made from boiling animal bones.

  13. 22poopoo says:

I know, non of us can totally! Unless your ultra obbsessive with loads of time and probably rich.

  14. gledalac1979 says:

    @22poopoo

too bad soy is in everything and I could hardly avoid it

  15. aerugo49 says:

the population in general, yes… but i’m not talking about the traditional Chinese in times of famine… i’m talking about vegetarians in east Asia. naturally, the general population in east Asia would consume less soy than the vegetarians..

  16. 22poopoo says:

Yes nowadays but historically the chinese only ate un fermented soy at times of famine.

  17. aerugo49 says:

no, that is not correct. Asia has many vegetarians, and always has. any serious Buddhist, not just monks, is a vegetarian. Buddha said that one could not get to Nirvana without being a vegetarian. we have a very high east Asian population in my city. as a vegan, i’m happy, because almost any of these restaurants has a separate vegetarian menu, of which soy is the key focus.

  18. 22poopoo says:

Exactly your right, they put in in millions of things wiythout us realising.

  19. 22poopoo says:

She is right tho, they only ate soybeans in times of famine unless they are monks cos it dampens libido.

  20. TatianaMichaela says:

Since I started to regurarly eat soy, my overal health improved. The same happened to all people who became vegatarians and started to eat soy (and other vegeterian soruces of protein) instead of meat: much more energy (then on meat), better regeneration of tissue, better immunity, hormonal balance…etc. From my point of view – SOY IS EXCELLENT.
GMO food is something else, but not every soy is GMO. Dr Sherill obviously does not eat soy , she would look much younger on soy, LOL:

  21. aerugo49 says:

most people in modern life consume more than twice the protein they need. vegetarians never lack protein. and the only thing a vegan diet lacks is B12, which could be found in soil, but who wants to eat soil when you don’t know what chemicals it has come into contact with?? i’ve been vegan for a year & a half & just gave blood. my iron was completely normal & i’ve never felt better in my life. it requires a bit of research, but it is by far the best diet, with vitamin B12 supplements of course.

  22. aerugo49 says:

of course a different genetic makeup could make a difference… you’re right. the thing is, processed food isn’t good for anyone. i don’t eat any of those things you mentioned. i bake all my own bread (after doing it for awhile & then buying some, it was like eating newspaper, bleh!!), don’t eat shake & bake (i don’t eat chicken, being a vegan…) and i do eat some cereal, but it’s sugar-free organic cereal, not the stuff most people eat. i’ve never felt better, being vegan & eating lots of soy!

  23. araeshkigal says:

There’s something to be said for the fact that we’re describing two disparate genetic populations here.

Further, Asians actually eat *less* PROCESSED soy overall than Americans. We are putting soy flower/oil/fiber in *everything* these days. Seriously, go grab a package of anything from bread to cereal to chicken shake and bake off the shelf, you will find soy.

  24. ithrowcatsatdogs says:

that whole bit of the baby eating soy every day is the equivalent of 5 birth control pills is a lie. this lady has no idea what she’s talking about, completely different compound of phytoestrogen in soy, not recognized by the body, not used by the body, does not influence your body. Much MUCH more in dairy, meat and marijuana, if you’re concerned about estrogen levels. this video is misinformation

  25. rogertayloRRR says:

the same is done with corn. doesnt mean corn is bad

  27. LagerLugger says:

I have to laugh at the number of uneducated and stubborn people who refuse to accept the simple truth that soy is NOT healthy. Soy is one of the greatest lies ever presented to U.S. consumers. It’s your body, but if soy is your thing you had better be taking supplements, including calcium and vitamin D. Good luck!
