But you need to see these products ( especially the ones that still deliver nicotine to your system ) as something which will continuously steer you away from nicotine dependence. These should not be alternative choices to smoking. They may be a’lesser evil’, but nicotine can still do plenty of damage, even without the risks that smoke brings. It toughens your veins and heart muscles, and permits the build-up of fat deposits around your heart.

It’s also advisable that you find a support group to help you along your journey. Having someone that understands what you are going thru might help in making your burden lighter. Getting the people closest to you to help you in smoking cessation health benefits is also a great idea, and it could also be something you can do together as a team if they are smokers, too.
