I think you have insomnia. The only problem with insomnia is that it has many underlying causes such as stress that prevents you from being able to sleep. Try seeing a doctor or just reading a book or drinking some herbal tea before bed.
Take a sleep test to see if you have sleep apnea or other sleep disorder that’s preventing you from getting a good nights rest.
Well us on of those mask that gose over your eyes. You are tired because when you are a sleep and there are light. Then you can not sleep then good because you will not really a sleep and you will wake up and that is why you are tired
Try these tips about how to get good night’s sleep. Hope useful.
Lavender in the pillow is supposed to help.
Why can’t you take medicine? Here are a few tips:
Avoid caffeine, especially after about 3 PM.
Don’t eat too large an evening meal, and don’t eat anything heavy or high in carbohydrates after about 7 PM, as the digestion process and changes in blood sugar can interrupt your rest. But don’t leave your stomach totally empty either, lest an empty stomach keep you awake. If you get hungry after dinner, have a light snack like a piece of whole-grain toast or a yogurt.
Try a warm drink just before bed, but nothing sugary, caffeinated, or alcoholic. Warm milk or cider, or herbal tea, is an excellent choice.
Instead of just climbing straight into bed, give yourself some time to wind down with a quiet activity such as reading, listening to soft music (something like Enya or classical music), or watching a little TV (but not anything too fast-paced or exciting– try a documentary or low-key drama.) Take a warm (not hot) bath or shower, dim the lights, and take some time to just relax and pamper yourself.
Take care of any worries from the day that might keep you tossing and turning. For instance, if you have ongoing troubles like money problems or a looming deadline, resolve to work on it in the morning. Remind yourself that worrying won’t help and you need your rest to come up with an effective solution. If you’re fighting with a significant other, try to reach at least a temporary truce and agree to take up your issues later– don’t go to bed angry. If you feel anxious about your personal safety, make a quick check around the house to see that the doors and windows are locked, the stove is off, smoke alarms are on, etc. (you’d be surprised how common this fear is.) If you’re brooding over something personal, talk to someone about it, or start a diary to express your feelings.
Experiment with changing the scents, colors and textures in your bedroom to affect the mood. Relaxing colors are blue, green and neutral tones; avoid red or yellow as these can cause aggression or irritability in some people. Hang heavy curtains to block any light through your window. Get softer sheets, and a better pillow or mattress topper. See if different scents, like lavender, are helpful to you, and if so get some incense or potpourri. Remove anything from your bedroom that reminds you of daily troubles or activities, such as calendars and papers from work or school. Don’t keep a TV in your room, and don’t use your bed for anything but sleep and sex.
If you try these techniques and nothing is helping, something more serious could be causing your problems and you should see your doctor to determine if you have a medical or psychological condition that warrant treatment.
