Reduction Of Cholesterol Levels?
What are the remedies available for reducing triglycerides in alternative medicine ?
Stop eating sugar, drinking sodas and eating processed foods! These foods raise inflammation in the body which then has to make more cholesterol to control the inflammation.
Beware especially of HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) which bypasses the appetite control system and is absorbed directly.

I believe that garlic capsules are very good for cutting down on cholesterol. You can eat mint with it or chew gum if the breath isn’t too good.
Also some of the margarines help to cut down triglycerides too. I have a friend who got very good results after about 6 weeks on certain brands of margarine.

* Eat fewer fats and fried foods. Choose non-fat and low-fat versions of foods, if available.
* When eating fats, select unsaturated fats. (Unsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature vegetable oils, for example. Avoid tropical oils, such as palm and coconut oil.)
* Choose fish and poultry more often than red meat.
* Limit total amount of meat, fish, poultry, and low-fat cheeses to 7 ounces or less each day.
* Exercise.
* If you smoke, quit.
* Lose extra weight.
* Eat more soluble fiber. Good sources are fruits, beans, peas, and oats.
* Limit egg yolks to no more than three per week. (Egg whites are fat-free.
