No Health Ins. Is There Natural Ways To Help Blood Pressure?
• Habitual overeating, even of good food, will lead to hypertension. A person does not tend to overeat on healthfully prepared natural foods.
• Excessive protein food, sweats, rich pastry, and desserts must be omitted; but the reduction of all foods is especially important.
• Do not use salt; this is essential for lowering blood pressure. Read the labels: Many foods contain sodium. Look for “salt,” “sodium,” “soda,” or “Na” on the label. Also avoid MSG (monosodium glutamate), baking soda, saccharin, soy sauce, diet soft drinks, preservatives, meat tenderizers, and softened water.
• Only drink distilled water.
• Eliminate all dairy products, for they are high in sodium.
• Do not use processed meats or canned vegetables.
• Stress, fear, anger, and pain increases blood pressure. Adequate daily outdoor exercise helps reduce the effects of stress.
• Eat a high-fiber diet. Include oat bran; it appears to be the very best type for the purposes you have in mind.
• For oil, take 2 tbsp. flaxseed oil daily.
• Use no animal fat of any kind; it is best to avoid meat, since there is so much of it in meat.
• Do not eat chocolate, alcohol, avocados, aged cheeses, and yogurt.
• Include supplemental calcium in your diet.
• Avoid more than 400 units of vitamin D daily.
• Drink fresh vegetable juices.
• Garlic definitely lowers blood pressure. Actually, it tends to normalize it. In those with low blood pressure, it raises it. Fresh, raw garlic is the best.
• Obtain sufficient rest at night; do not eat later than several hours before bedtime.
• Do a pulse test in order to ascertain offending foods you are allergic to (see “Pulse Test”).
• If you are pregnant, check your blood pressure regularly.
• Do not take antihistamines.
• Do not take supplements containing the amino acids tyrosine or phenylalanine.
• Keep your weight down! Loss of weight lowers blood pressure. If you are overweight and have high blood pressure, you would do well fasting one or two days a week.
• When the situation is critical, special care must be given to produce successful recovery:
• Adequate rest, both physical and mental, is needed, though mild exercise is beneficial to those with moderate hypertension. Even the visits of friends and relatives may have to be restricted or prohibited for a time.
• Gradually start mild exercise. Walk out-of-doors and gradually (slowly!) build up the amount of time spent in outdoor walking.
• All blood pressure medications tend to have negative effects. Moderate exercise, rest, sleep, and proper diet will provide better help.
• No vigorous or tonic hydrotherapy, or even massage, should be used. The neutral bath and complete bed rest is needed.
• One recommended program is fruit and rice, alone, for 1-2 weeks.

Like someone else mentioned, visit a free clinic. You need to be seen by a doctor. There are pharmacies, Target and Walmart among them, that have some generic prescription medications available for only $4. Blood pressure medications are among those offered. Here is a list of Walmart’s $4 heart and blood pressure medications: http://www.walmart.com/cservice/contextu…
Tell the doctor you want a blood pressure medication from this list.
As for trying to lower it on your own, exercise 5 days per week for 1 hour and eat low salt food (try to maintain daily sodium consumption to under 2000 grams per day). Losing weight, if you are overweight, can also help to lower your blood pressure. I strongly advise however that you visit a doctor before starting any exercise program.

Antioxidants are great things like OPC-3 or Resveratrol (aka red wine extract) are probably the most efficient. You can get them @ http://www.tkshopintl.us. Resveratrol is probably the better of the two and its like $20 or $30 cheaper than OPC-3. It is unbelievable for the cardiovascular system.

Avoid salt and loose weight. Even if you do all the right things, if high blood pressure runs in your family, you need medication.

First of all, try not to worry about it as it will just go up. Try this,… Hawthorn 250 mg 3 x daily. This herb dilates the artery walls and decreases bp. Calcium and magnesium, take a combination of 500 mg of calcium and 250 mg of magnesium 2 x daily. Coq10, take 100 mg 2-3 x daily. Garlic, take 600mg daily of an aged garlic extract. Fish oil, 3,000 mg 3x daily. Vitamin C,(helps detoxify toxic metals, such as lead, which contribute to high bp) take 1,000-2,000 mg daily
Eat a good balanced diet with plenty of fruits and veggies, Lots of fiber, good, quality lean protein, healthy fats from olive, canola oils and nuts. Stay away from the bad fats and salt. Plenty of exercise( a 30 min. walk every day will do wonders for lowering bp in no time, and help maintain a healthy weight). Try some meditation if your nerves are a bit jangled.

I buy a supplement called 120 over 80 made with 10 herbs that works for me. You get 30 doses for $6.00
When you say don’t eat greasy heavy food, no salt, no fat, no carbs, I guess your saying don’t eat or drink anything. Just die and blow away. …….I stick to supplements…..drugs are a dead end, especially drug company drugs. Supplements heal without any side effects, and you never get immune to them. I get immune to drugs like pepcid ac….bought a package of 6 took 1 per day for 6 days…..5 worked…1 didn’t. Now I’m totally immune to pepcid ac and to zantac and to all of them. All because they are man-made drugs. Now the purple pill gives you prostate cancer. Wonderful! and Viagra makes you go blind Oh boy!

Sorry about that there are approx 40+ million in the same situtation. Many are working people who are law abiding citizens & pay taxes so convicts can live reasonably comfortable inside their heated & cooled cells. Its not right. But to answer your question —if you can & are over weight try to lose some weight, stay away from salt completely & maybe walk some every day if you can.Even walking around the house will help.I hope you get better i have blood pressure problems & i eat a lot of old fashion oatmeal & i take medication but it gets too high quite often. So i got to gety up in the nxt few minutes & start walking i try to walk somtimes 4-5 miles a day.You may not be able to do this but i think i can understand your situtation.I can pray for you.God bless

Mexico has very low cost of medicine.
5% gun powder with vaseline working like nitroglycerin ointment, put on the chest. It’s fast.
Several herbs. This rare, safe herb Houttuynia cordata or Vap Ca fish mint can lower BP moderate to some people, 9 leaves a day after 30 days. Grow fast like grass.http://www.herbsarespecial.com.au/free-h…
Require strictly diet of salt, spicy, alcohol, caffein, fat, and sugar (diabetics), and optimal weight, moderate excercise.
Other Chinese herbs can grow in few months that I have had few years to substitude beta blocker.

Doesn’t it stink having no health care?
Hillary’s plan sounds just fine to me.
I know all the rich people who have it don’t care about us, but too bad.
July 26th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
Absolutely, increase your fiber intake, decrease your fat, sodium intake. Stay away from alchol and caffeine, exercise and learn to handle things properly without getting upset. This will help a lot but you will still need to go to the local Free Clinic for an exam as some things are hereditary and still need medication to go with the above lifestyle in order to stick around.
July 26th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
Reduce your salt intake and get plenty of exercise.
Fish oil, garlic and apple cider vinegar all help a bit.
For further information perhaps a search for “high blood pressure” + “natural remedies” might be of interest.

You might want to look around for free clincs/sliding scale clincs or heatlh studies for high blood pressure. I wouldn’t be betting on a natural remedy without first getting it under control under a doctors care. Why don’t you have health insurance?
