Does Drinking Lots Of Water Help You To Lose Weight?

The most important ingredient for losing body fat is all around you. Its range is two third part of the planet. If your diet and exercise routine is well balanced, but still need to lose weight, you are probably just not drinking enough water. Drinking lots of water does help you lose weight and it also helps you lose it faster.

I, like most people, do not drink enough water and have permanent state of dehydration.  I was also carrying around a few more pounds than was healthy for me.So, to get the weight off, I started drinking more water. It gave me more energy as my metabolism started working differently.I worked on some research and this is what I discovered about metabolism.

There are many types of metabolism going on in a person’s body at all times, but to lose weight your metabolism needs to  convert fat to energy which is what the liver does. But the liver also does other works – like to pick up the duties of the kidneys when they are not working properly. If you are not hydrated, your kidneys are water deprived and the liver has to do the work of kidneys work as well as its own.  When the liver is helping the kidneys, it can not metabolize fat into energy as quickly as it can when the kidneys are doing their job.  So, what happens – the fat stores up.It is just like when an employee, who works with you, doesn’t come to work and you will have to do his work while doing your own work. And you have a lot of pending work.

Another problem is also that often we decide to increase the amount of water we drink per day, but very few of us stick with it.During the first few days of drinking more water than our bodies are use to, we were running to the bathroom again and again. This actually can be very discouraging, and can certainly interfere in your day to day life.We think that water is coming out just as fast as it’s going in, and so most of us decide we should give up the habit of drinking water.

Our bodies are flushing out the water that has been stored over the years of what is known as “survival mode”.  But as we continue to drink a lot of water, our body starts getting rid of what it doesn’t need – which is the water that has been stored in our thighs, ankles and hips.  We are getting rid of water that our bodies realize they don’t need anymore. On most occasions we reach what is called a “break though” point where our bodies will let us return to normal and we are not going to the restroom as much.

If you don’t like the taste of water, try drinking sparkling water.  You can find a large assortment of calorie free flavors to flavor sparkling water to great taste at http://allfreightfree.com

So, yes, drinking water does help with losing weight and needs to be part of any diet loss plan for that plan to work more effectively.
