Water fasting – best weight loss method or simply starving?


Days 4 & 5 of my water fast experience!! March 9th 2010 TOPICS: Clarifying water consumption Why I’m not doing yoga/exercise program Why I’m not hungry Overview of evening of Day 3 – Day 5 IMPROVEMENTS!! This is my first water fast although I have done a master cleanse and juice feasting in the past. When I break my 30 day fast I will do three days of orange juice and watermelon, four days of juicy fruits, and then following with the 80-10-10 lifestyle (raw vegan foods – high fruit, some veggies and nuts). I have researched this topic extensively but I am not an expert. Any and all comments, suggestions, opposing views are welcome. Please ask any questions and if I don’t know the answer I will find it. If you express opposing views please have proof/source to back it up preferably from a doctor as I have links below outlining the benefits of fasting by doctors.     you are sooo amazing! this video just talked me out of a binge. i suffere from binge eating and am embarking on a water fast to clear my head and get a hold of my huger cues.

    @candace945 I never had strong cravings however I would get stuck thinking about a certain food – I would just tell myself it was all in my head. I would say around day 5 I stopped thinking about food all together and settled into the rhythm of fasting. You could try drinking more water – that may help. Good luck & let me know if you have any more questions.
