3-4 times a year my ankle becomes swollen, inflexible and very painful. The affected area is from the top of my foot all the way around to my achilles. I have to hop around everywhere for a few days and then the pain completely dissappears. I have gout symptoms except that it shouldn’t affect anyone my age. Anyone have an alternative diagnosis or a remedy? Could it be ligament or tendon damage?

My husband is 34 and has the same symptoms as you. The ER doctor told him to have further testing for pseudo gout. (I don’t know what the difference is). Weird. Good luck.
oh no you could have rheumtoid arthuritus get it checked out quickly!
This could also be due to ankle pronation or even some misalignment in your core. An osteopath would be my choice.
