There are cure to insomnia but first need to find out the causes of it.
For the time being, I would suggest you the Relaxation Techniques , it can help relieve your body and interferes with a good night’ sleep.
    Abdominal Breathing
This is a type of voluntary control of breathing. First breath normally, observe the rhythm and then start your deep breathing.
    - To start your deep breathing, lie down comfortably
    - Gently put your hand on your stomach
    - Slowly take a deep breath. It should be breath from the bottom of your stomach
    - Now feel it with the air
    - Your stomach muscles should raise up
    - Slowly breath in it which should take about 5 seconds
    - Slowly let the air go out and take about 5 seconds
    - Continuous this steps 2 to 3 times in a row
    - After the 2 to 3 time deep breathing go back to your normal breathing for 1 to 2 minutes
    - Now you can carry on with the deep breathing steps again
    - Repeat this deep breathing and normal breathing cycle a feel times

I take melatonin. If you try it, do it on a night that you don’t have to be alert the next day; you don’t know how it will work for you and I’ve had some friends take the smallest dose and be groggy the next day and others take it and it doesn’t help them sleep. I also take Tylenol PM. I have insomnia and I take large dose of melatonin with the Tylenol PM but you need to start on a low dose of one or the other to first see how they work for you. My insomnia started when my new husband died suddenly.

I don’t know how old you are, but maybe your parents will let you try an OTC sleep med. If those don’t work, there are prescription sleep meds that a doctor can prescribe. It might take some experimentation to find what works best for you.
My insomnia started when I was 16 – see http://www.fms-help.com/insomnia.htm – I am now 56. A list of things I’ve tried for sleep is at http://www.fms-help.com/sleep.htm
It could also be that a mild anti-anxiety medication could help you.
Being able to sleep is very important to be able to function the next day, as you know.
I experienced the same problem – tired, but can’t sleep.
Check out my webpages, and if all else fails, see your doctor.

Don’t use pills. Do things before bed to help you get tired. Examples: Talk to boyfriend, watch a movie, read a boring book. And make sure people in your house are quiet.

go to the doctor and they will give you a machine to help breath and you put it to your mouth and it will help you sleep better. my boyfriend has one and he says he sleeps like a baby. He loves his machine.
