Fruit and Green Drinks help Reach Recommended Amounts of Food Servings

5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day is now very easy According to the  USDA and the CDC , only only ten to twelve percent of the American population even comes close to consuming the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables . A large number of us eat none at all. The CDC has said” we recommend supplementation for those people who cannot or do not eat enough plant-based food”

Lunch: Eat one vegetable or salad with a half sandwich. Snack: Eat an organic apple.

This is but an example. I am sure you can add many foods to this idea. Remember adding supplements green drinks not only gives you your fruits and veggies for the day but gives you real disease fighting nutrients. Some include heart health compounds and antioxidants too.The most important point is to eat those fruits and veggies.
