This included tactics like minimizing harmful side effects to doctors, presenting statistics in a slanted way, accusing anyone that speaks out against psychiatric drugs as being a Scientologist, psychological profiling of doctors to best know how to convince them to prescribe your drugs, etc. Gwen Olsen spent fifteen years as a pharmaceutical sales rep working for such healthcare giants as Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed a successful, fast-paced career until several conscious-altering experiences began awakening her to the dangers lurking in every American medicine cabinet. Her most poignant lessons, however, came as both victim and survivor of life-threatening adverse drug reactions. are you a doctor or pharmacist, or just a saleswoman? how can you make medical deductions without clinical experience? i don’t doubt a lot of things mentioned, but i dont see very many specific examples or information, just random stories that may or may not be true.

thank you so much for speaking out! Doctors are legalized killers in this country! and I am personally sick of it! My first husband died at 43 yo of tylenol poisoning, and my son died at 21yo of fentanol poisoning, both drugs approved of and prescribred by doctors.

anchor of a countrys future. It is not wise to let one industry profit over GDP 16%.
Most doctors have no knowledge, resources nor time to do proper research.
Government should force pharmaceutical companies to do research on their own crap, if they want it to be called medicine. If they fail to do it propertly, or they fail to communicate clearly drugs characteristics (all of them), the company should be banned from the market automatically. All products. This way, they’ll be extremely careful.

In the video tho, she talks about how they’d use statistics to their advantage and even profile doctors to know how to appeal to them and everything. It isn’t quite an excuse, but I could understand how doctors end up doing what they want because of it.
Ultimately, I don’t blame any specific individuals, but the whole profit driven system in itself.
@geedee18940 it’s the doctors who are to blame. Drug reps are just like any other sales rep, they make their product sound great and don’t tell you about anything negative. It’s up to the doctor to do his own research and ultimately he’s the one that makes the decision to prescribe. I am amazed that these doctors go to all that schooling and we think of them as experts, yet they’re so easily sold by these bimbo reps who usually have no medical or pharmacology background at all.

I have long said we can not trust doctors because they are too stupid to do research. As a type 1 diabetic I would never listen to a doctor. I just say give me my insulin and I am not doing a thing you say.
