Does Anyone Know Of A Good All Natural Deodorant?

  • Sharebar

I’m looking for a natural deodorant that ACTUALLY works because I read in alternative health magazine that normal deodorant has been linked to breast cancer in women due to some nasty chemicals commonly used (it said that the most common area for a woman to get breast cancer lumps is nearest to the arm pit area where she puts deoderant on!)
The magazine reccomended using natural deodorants. I then read online that alot of them dont work very well.
Thats why I am asking. What product would you reccomend?
thanks!

Try using Tom’s of Maine Natural Deodorant. It is all natural and does not contain aluminum. It does come with a scent or scent free. You can find it in stores or health stores.

  2. Bad body odor is due to certain toxins in the body. These toxins come out along with the sweat and nourish the bacteria called coryniform bacteria. These bacteria produce a peculiar smell through the appocrine glands. Triphala and Bel leaves (Aegle marmelos) powder is a nice combination which eliminates the toxins from within the body and control bad body odor. Using deodorants will simply mask the odor but this combination will eliminate it radically.

Tom’s of Maine has a good variety. You may find these available at WHOLE FOODS if you have one near you. Also, drinking a lot of water instead of sugar drinks can help your body odors to improve.

Sage leaves work, but you stink like a tumbleweed.

Crystal Stick body deoborant, no aluminum chlorohydrate, made by F/T Ltd. It has a ball that you have to wet before applying. I don’t care fot it myself, but you might like it.

Well bathing is a BIG factor, there are natural essences that will help, like witch hazel or balsam oil or flower extracts that have been replaced by modern chemicals just for the cost and quanity factor, try a health food/organic/natural living store for ideas, and yes you are right about the carcinogens, we are paying a deadly price for deodorants, cosmetics and food colorings.

    YES! baking soda!
But the article you read isn’t accurate, no definite connection was established. Studies are inconclucive.
Of course if you want to stay on the safe side, go for baking soda.
