I’ve been battling with my acne problem for almost 5 years now, and I have tried just about everything. So instead of continuing with what is obviously not working for me, I’m going to try a different route. I am going to find out what causes acne in the first place. This is what I found out.

Clogged up skin pores are defiantly a contributing factor to acne problems. The pores in your skin may become clogged with excess makeup, dead skin cells, or dirt. Clogged skin pores alone aren’t the only cause of an acne problem, but if you combine this situation with an oily face it will allow a breeding ground for acne to develop. After this bacteria is produced and pus collects which results in an ugly pimple, whitehead, or a blackhead.

Why do people develop acne besides clogged pores and oily skin? Well, a poor skincare regimen is the major contributor to the trouble you are already having. this is exactly why it is very important to take care of your skin by washing it daily and using a gentle cleanser.

Smoking is not good for your skin. Now,everyone knows there are no positive affects that come about from smoking. Sadly, a lot of people don’t realize what smoking will do to your skin. Smoking too much can prematurely age your skin and make acne breakouts worse. It has been proven that acne is much more prevalent in smokers than non smokers therefore you must cut down or quit your smoking if your serious about getting rid of your acne

The foods you eat can have a direct impact on your skin condition. Have you ever noticed that the individuals who eat healthy foods always seem to have healthy skin, while the other people who eat nothing but oily foods and have a poor diet seem to always have a problem with acne. Try to incorporate lot of natural foods in your diet and make it a part of your regular diet. Don’t go near fried foods, junk foods, or oily foods if you want to help reduce your chances of an acne condition

These are a couple of the basics on what causes acne in the first place. If you are looking for much more detailed information on acne and all kinds of skin care visit Skin Care
