One Response to “Are Natural Shampoos Better For Our Health?”

  1. Wawa says:

Toxic chemicals applied to the skin or scalp are absorbed through the skin and get into your bloodstream. Some elements are passed out of the body and some accumulate in bones and organs such as the liver. In addition to that, most shampoos are tested on animals; that means the shampoo is used on caged animals in a laboratory, and then the animals (mice or other animals) are killed so their parts can be studied under a microscope to see if there are abnormal changes caused by the product. I personally don’t want an animal made miserable and then killed to make sure my shampoo is safe, especially when some brands that aren’t expensive don’t use animal testing. The basic answer to your question is: yes, natural shampoos are better for you, the environment they don’t pollute and the animals they’re not tested on.
