I guess the lady is talking about a very small group of anemias, which are most common, namely iron-deficiency anemias… but there might be plenty of other causes, anemia is not a disease itself

  5. dannybex says:

So-so advice. It’s not just always an iron thing. Anemia can also be due to b12 deficiency, folate, copper, etc.. And all of these elements work with iron to improve hemoglobin/hematocrit levels.

She forgot the serum ferritin test. That is the only test that tells you if you have low iron levels.

The haemoglobin level and cell count could be caused by something else.

Princess blood transfusions aren’t the only answer. Ask your dr which kind of anemia u suffer from. You can help yourself by eating foods enriched in iron or are naturally high in it. These includes meats such as beef, pork and other red meats. Or meat subistutes such as beans.

wow im glad i found this video, ive had all these symptoms but i didnt know what was wrong with me..I thought it was depression ( started depression meds), i went to the er for food poisoning and found out my hemoglobin was 6.8, so as of 3 days ago ive had 3 blood transfusions… and again in 3 weeks i get checked.. : (.. so im still new to this, anything that helps, please let me know
