Nowadays living a healthy lifestyle is kind of a difficult. Most foods that we eat consist of preservatives that sometimes contribute to a higher risk in getting diseases.
Who doesn’t love to eat? Nobody! It’s certainly a fact that we all love to eat. There is no problem in eating as long as you know your limitations and as long as you have enough knowledge on the contents of the food you eat.
If you will notice most foods that are sold contains preservatives that maybe dangerous to your health. Other preservatives can give you higher risk in getting heart diseases and certain cancers. And if that happens it requires medication.
Do you believe that herbal remedies are now used as an alternative for drug medications?
The benefits that we get from herbs have been known for many centuries. These herbs are known for curing every known illness. Nowadays, 80% of the world’s population uses herbs as a primary form of medication.
There are many people that believe that herbs are just as effective as drugs. And good thing about herbs is that they don’t have any side effects. But still, despite of the benefits that we get from herbs, criticisms from other health experts are still there. Health experts state that herbal medicinal plants have not been tested for efficacy so it should not be use as an alternative for drug medicines.
However, here are some of the herbs that are popularly known to bring benefits to us.
Aloe Vera – They are used for healing burns and wounds. They help in the stimulation of the cells regeneration. Aloe Vera can soothe stomach irritation and use as an aid in healing.
Corn Silk – Helpful for the bladder, kidneys and small intestine. It can be use together with other herbs to remove mucus from the urine. Useful for bed-wetting, carpet tunnel syndrome, obesity, premenstrual syndrome and prostate disorder.
Green Tea – It helps reduce the risk of esophageal stomach, skin and colon cancer. It delays the onset of arteriosclerosis and helps offsets mental fatigue. Sometimes use

Garlic – It helps in detoxification, protection of the body against infection and helps in the enhancement of the immune system. It improves blood circulation, lowers blood pressure and blood lipid levels. Lemon Grass – It is good for the nails and skin.

Well, these are just some of the herbal plants we have together with their benefits. However, you should be aware that not all plants are beneficial. Some plants are poisonous and others are considered deadly if used for a long time.
