Should I Use a Sunblock in Winter?
December 31st, 2008 -- Posted in Natural Skin Care | No Comments »The best sunblock is the one you use! This means every day, summer or winter. Ultra violet radiation bombards us regardless of whether it’s hot or cold and UV in winter can be very high, even when the sun’s not actually shining.
We often seek out the sun in winter so put a sunblock on your face to stop wrinkles and UV related cancers (eg melanoma)
There are many choices out there but the best sunblock is a natural one with no chemical preservatives such as parabens. It should also be broad spectrum – meaning it will protect you against UVA and UVB rays.
UVA are the rays that age us, UVB are the cancer causing ones. Care for your skin in the sun this winter!
